Brooklyn Book Bodega is proud to be part of the Official Charity Partner Program for the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon! Brooklyn Book Bodega is a NYC-based nonprofit with the mission to increase the number of 100+ book homes for kids 0-18 in NYC because kids who read do better in life. Brooklyn Book Bodega provides access to and ownership of books, builds community, and creates a passion for learning through free events and literacy-based community programming. Our books can be found throughout the five boroughs, and the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon takes you on a running journey through the five boroughs, too! FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT
Brooklyn Book Bodega runners commit to fundraising a minimum of $4,000 due in full by 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, October 27, 2025. If the fundraising pledge is not met, the remaining balance is charged to the card on file on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. If the fundraising minimum is not met, Brooklyn Book Bodega reserves the right to restrict the runners access to the Marathon. All runners will sign a fundraising agreement acknowledging requirements and deadlines. In addition to the fundraising pledge, Brooklyn Book Bodega runners are responsible for the NYRR race registration fee. ($255 for members, $315 for non-members)
